Westbury Club – Adult Day Program

Westbury Club is an adult day program that operates Monday through Friday for those who need a daily structured environment. Family members who need to take care of business or simply take a break have peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are receiving the support and attention they need in a secure environment that provides them with opportunities for recreational and social activities among their peers. What your elderly friends or family member receive at the Westbury Club: Supervision, Respite for the caregiver, Nutritious meal and snacks, Health monitoring and medication administration, Therapeutic and recreational programs, Activities such as: Intergenerational Programs Exercise Art Music Games Parties Outings and Cooking.

Goals of the Westbury Club:

• Provide opportunities for socialization and recreation
• Provide opportunities for growth and development
• Maintain the individual’s functional level
• Promote quality of life for all participants
• Monitor medical and physical needs of our participants
• Provide support and respite for families and other caregivers
• Prevent premature or inappropriate placement in an institution

General Admissions Guidelines

• At least 65 years of age
• A degree of independence is required
• Ability to communicate their needs
• Understand simple directions
• Under the care of a physician
• Free of communicable diseases

The Westbury Club meets Monday through Friday from

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with the exception of a few holidays. The $38.50 a day fee includes all activities, a nutritious lunch and snacks. Attendance at the Club can be daily, weekly, or at scheduled intervals. This program is available to both residents and the community. The Foundation provides Fellowship Assistance to individuals from the community with limited financial resources.
