Testimonials.
"After living over twenty-six years in a well-loved old farm house located nearby on the shore of the Rappahannock River, we decided that the time had come to move.

“We have known of Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury since its beginning. We have carefully followed its progress and felt sure that it offered the security and style of living that we wanted. Three years ago we moved to RW-C and have found that life here meets all of our expectations for interesting and friendly residents, comfortable accommodations, excellent meals, security for the future and a general feeling of well-being. We recommend RW-C to everyone who wants an up-to-date lifestyle in a rural setting."
Louise and Tom Denegre

"Coming to Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury was the smartest move we ever made. Yes, we considered other choices, but we found the location, the size, the staff, the ambiance and the family atmosphere more to our liking.

“Join us and enjoy life with our many friends at RW-C."
Charlotte and Emory Waldrop

Following her Welcoming Reception as a new resident at RW-C, Margaret "Peggy" Hatch wrote in the Residents' Weekly Communiqué, "I want to take this opportunity to thank all the residents and staff at RW-C for the many kind and gracious things you have done to make me feel so welcome to your community. Thank you for giving me such a warm reception. I am looking forward to renewing acquaintances with all you nice people who came to greet me and I will learn your names ASAP! I am so glad I chose RW-C!"

"My husband and I retired to the Northern Neck after corporate life in Massachusetts and North Carolina. Our home was on an estuarial creek with a large yard where the grass grew beautifully, but always needed to be cut. After a while, we made the wise decision to move just five miles away to RW-C. Here we found all the wants on our wish list. We continued the active and pleasant lives to which we were accustomed, and we did not have to mow the grass!

"My very happy and contented life at RW-C prompts me to invite others to come visit us here in Irvington, Virginia. You will find a serene, peaceful setting with your choice of an apartment, a clustered cottage, or a freestanding home. We have lifetime healthcare and a friendly, interesting staff. There are no strangers here. The attractively landscaped campus is set amid the natural beauty of our rural setting.

"Friendships develop through diversified activities, interesting and entertaining programs, and chances to work on various projects. Like to play bridge? Swim in an indoor, heated pool? Play croquet or lawn bowl? Are you a walker? Enjoy reading? Ladies, do you like to knit or crochet? Men, does a woodworking shop appeal to you? How about weekly Bible study and Sunday afternoon services? All these activities, and more, are here for us when we want them.

"In fact, it is ALL here. Come and visit us and see for yourself."
