Sharing With Those In Need.

As part of RW-C's mission to serve older adults, the RW-C Foundation was established. The Foundation is the fundraising arm of RW-C and its primary focus is raising money for the Fellowship Fund.

The Fellowship Program has a threefold purpose:
  • Allowing financial assistance for those eligible to enter RW-C who could not otherwise afford the fees
  • Assuring continued residency for those whose funds have become exhausted through no fault of their own
  • Providing assistance for Westbury Club, the Adult Day Program

One of the primary objectives of the Foundation is to create an endowment that will ensure continuance of this support.

Fellowship assistance is awarded without discrimination but preference is given to applicants who have resided in the communities served by RW-C and to individuals whose lives and work have shown service to their community. The Foundation raises funds in a number of ways:

  • The Annual Fellowship Fund Drive
  • Annual Golf Tournament
  • Northern Neck Entertains

Gifts can also be made at any time in honor or in memory of a loved one or through planned gifting. Bequests are always popular because of the ease of remembering RW-C in your will. There are other opportunities for planned gifts including gifts of stock.
